|
The new industry standard of H.264 Compression enables higher quality, lower bit rates, and new applications. This 4 Channel Pentaplex Digital Video Recorder records CIF Real-time video on each channel into the 320GB hard drive, which is pre-installed. It can simultaneously display live footage, record, playback, connect via network, and back-up without any recording loss. Connect this DVR to a VGA monitor or television and view all 4 cameras at the same time. With the RJ-45 Connection you can even monitor remotely through LAN or Internet. This DVR bundle also includes 4 indoor/outdoor weatherproof CCD camera kits with night vision. The eSATA port makes backup faster and easier into an eSATA hard drive or CD/DVD Burner. This package includes 4 Color CCD Cameras with Night Vision. H.264 technology provides a far more efficient algorithm for compressing video than any other compression method available. Technically I guess it is but if you go by received date it is not. since Q-See get this piece of crap from China you can tell that the chinese wrote the manual & this dumb company (Q-See) did not even read & correct the broken english.example when you log out of the system it asks "Are you sure to log out." this is only one example of the errors that the manual & software has. When I received a return message from Q-see today they were going to give me "Their 30 days of grace" for warranty purposes than an hour after this girl calls from their support department & says "No, sorry we need an $80 charge to look at it & parts are extra", I told her where to stick the camera if I did send it. I bought this from Costco on August o6/2008, it has a 12 month warranty. The manual is the biggest joke of all. You can buy a much better camera on e-bay with 32 IF sensors rather than their 13 for about $70, this I will do & say adious to Q-See which I think means QUEER SEEING CAMERAS. I received it three weeks later---August 27/2008.One camera has just recently (in last 7 days) turned so blurry that I can not see it anymore can only see indistinct objects. I contacted Q-See, they refuse to do anything saying it is out of warranty.
I had to return all 4 to the Q-See company and they sent me better adjusted ones.I still have a hard time with face recognition in daylight at 15 feet away. The onlt problem I have noticed is the cameras are not that great. All in all a decent system for the price. I guess you get what you pay for. The system is very nice with all the features, playback while realtime recording.
great vidio at both day and night. Good prouduct for the doit your self looking for a little property security.
